Urban Meyer Apologizes for Using Disabled Parking Placard for Free Parking

JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville Jaguars coach Urban Meyer apologized recently after being caught on video using a disabled parking placard to avoid paying the parking meter.  Meyer, who is scheduled to speak on Character and Ethics at the National Federation of Parking, Mobility, Transportation, Micro-Mobility and Commuter Professionals (NFPMTMMCP) Conference in December, met with his team on Monday. “I had a very pointed conversation with them, owning a stupid mistake that I made. I do have health issues that flare up from time to time when my teams are struggling which is why I carry my great aunt’s disabled parking placard.” At press time, DeMarcus Parker, Executive Director of NFPMTMMCP, had no comment as to whether Meyer would still be a keynote speaker on Character and Ethics, a class he taught at Ohio State University, at the NFPMTMMCP conference in December.
