Parking Meter Companies Already Planning on How to Charge for Upgrades Needed for 6G Network
JACKSON – With 6G expected to launch in 2030, parking meter companies are thankfully already planning on what parts they can require clients to have to have to purchase or upgrade to accommodate this functionality. Kyle Hendricks, CPAM, Parking and Mobility Consultant with some P named Parking Company, says, “We’re not quite sure what 6G and 7G means, but we are so excited for this technology to arrive so we can offer world class solutions to our clients at an upcharge.” Parking meter companies plan to announce specifics on 6G requirements and upgrades after cities finishing purchasing their 5G upgrades. Cities that do not purchase the required 5G upgrades may be able to purchase a discounted kit in the near future that might work.
