Parking App Not Launched For First Time Yesterday
WASHINGTON DC — For the first time in nine years a parking app was not launched yesterday. Industry experts do not believe this to be a cause for concern. “While we are shocked a new parking app wasn’t released anywhere in the world today, we do not see this as a cause for concern. The parking industry continues to see unprecedented growth,” says DeMarcus Parker, Executive Director for the National Federation of Parking, Mobility, Transportation, Micro-Mobility and Commuter Professionals (NFPMTMMCP). Even Apple CEO, Tim Cooke was caught off guard by the anomaly. “We’ve seen thousands of parking apps launched in our app store over the years. We would be lying if we said we weren’t concerned, but I’m confident there are many more fearless entrepreneurs ready to launch a new mobile payment app this under-saturated industry definitely needs.” Cooke concluded that interested entrepreneurs could contact him personally at Tim.Cooke@apple.com with a subject line mentioning Parking App Idea. In response to the crisis, NFPMTMMCP announced a special parking app idea workshop at next years Parking, Mobility, Transportation, Micro-Mobility and Commuter Professionals Conference in Las Vegas.
